Little Flamingo's Little World

Once upon a time there was a bird called Flamingo. She had a baby bird that she named Little Flamingo, or Flaminguito. By the time Flaminguito turned one year old, she was doing a lot of funny things that Flamingo wanted to share with all the other birds in her flock. When a friend from the monkey exhibit at the Zoo told her about a blog, she decided to start one of her own...then two little baby blue birds came along and she added their antics to her blog, too...this is Flaminguito's blog.

Swimming Lessons!

The Bird started her 3rd year of lessons 2 weeks ago and has moved up from Parent-Tot to Minnows. She can now put her face in the water, do bobs and do backfloats and, as the youngest member of her group, she's almost 3, the class starts at age 4, she's really learning a lot from the older kids. I'm so proud of her and secretly glad I don't have to get in the pool for Parent-Tot anymore this year.

Things were a little busy around here with a new family member in the mix.

Baby LOV joined us on May 19th, she's the baby bird's cousin, a tiny little bird, 6 lbs. 4 oz.

Baby bird really likes her.

And she really likes the bird.

Grandma reallly likes them both!

Baby bird visits the dentist.

And this time she didn't bite, kick, scream, nothing! Just asked if her teeth were beautiful.
